A former junior rower at Warrington Rowing Club who was coached by Richard, Jen has since gone on to become a qualified solicitor and supports the team with her legal knowledge. She is our youngest trustee.

Elaine has a wealth of experience as a Company Director and working for the Civil Service. Before becoming a Trustee Elaine was a regular volunteer for WYR. Elaine is now looking after the administration of WYR including all HR and Safeguarding matters.
Cam is studying at University in Manchester and is a very strong rower, currently training for U23 trials. She coaches out of Warrington.
Jess started rowing at WRC and is now a student at LJMU. She can be found coaching in both Liverpool and Warrington
Gill Laidlaw & Jen Hinds
Gill and Jen have a rowing events company called Always Oarsome (www.alwaysoarsome.com) and are regulars at WRC. They are regular coaches and are on call for WYR, helping out with coaching and other rowing bits as required.
Janet has been a competitive rower at Warrington Rowing Club for many years and is a Club Coach for the J13 squad. Janet’s two daughters also row to a very high standard, with one currently following a rowing scholarship in the USA.
Lauren started her rowing career at Agecroft RC and has competed locally and nationally. She now works in the charity sector and founded her own charity in 2016 called Youth Mental Health Matters… Youth Mental Health Matters
Richard is a founding member of Warrington Rowing club which he helped set up in 1986 as well being an extremely successful junior rowing coach, helping many young people win local, national and international rowing titles.
